Two variants of tours can be organized:

Stationary: residing for the most of time on the lake. Daily voyages by motor boats to the various points on the lake for fishing, and return back to the stationary camp for overnight;

Rafting: the visitors spend a few days on the lake, then travel by motor boats down the river Vivi up to the first large rapids situated 100 km downstream of the river; fishing on the river and its tributaries.

ITINERARY

1. Stationary variant: fishing on the Lake Vivi and in its surroundings

Fitness level: easy.

Taymen (Vivi River)

Day 1. Overnight flight from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk (4,5 hours). Take a local flight from Krasnoyarsk to Turukhansk (2 hours 40 minutes). Arrive the Turukhansk, accommodation at the hotel, registration for foreign visitors. Dinner. Leisure time at the hotel.

Day 2. Helicopter flight to the Lake Vivi (1 hour 55 minutes). Accommodation in the tented camp.

Days 3 – 7. Fishing on the Lake Vivi: Siberian grayling (Thymallus arcticus), Siberian whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus pidschian), Dryagina char (Salvilinus Drjagini), Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus), valek (Coregonus cylindraceus), paliya (Salvelinus lepeshini). Fishing lenok, Siberian grayling, Siberian whitefish, taimen, pike and perch at the source and upper reaches of the river Vivi (at the distance of 20 km from the lake).

Greyling (Lake Vivi)

Days 7 – 9. Motor boat transfer downstream the Vivi river (about 20 km from the lake). Fishing on the river: Taimen (Hucho taymen), Siberian Grayling (Thymallus arcticus), Siberian whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus pidschian), Dryagina char (Salvilinus Drjagini), Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) and large Pike and Perch. Accommodation in a tented camp on a river bank.

Day 10. Helicopter flight back to Turukhansk. Local scheduled flight from Turukhansk to Krasnoyarsk. Accommodation in a hotel in Krasnoyarsk.

Day 11. Transfer to airport. Departure to Moscow.

2. Rafting variant: fishing on the Lake Vivi and upper reaches of the River Vivi

(up to the first large rapids situated 100 km downstream)

Fitness level: easy.

Taymen (Vivi River)

Day 1. Overnight flight from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk (4,5 hours). Take a local flight from Krasnoyarsk to Turukhansk (2 hours 40 minutes). Arrive the Turukhansk, accommodation at the hotel, registration for foreign citizens. Dinner. Leisure time at the hotel.

Day 2. Helicopter flight to the Lake Vivi (1 hour 55 minutes). Accommodation in a tented camp.

Days 3 – 4. Fishing on the Lake Vivi: Siberian grayling (Thymallus arcticus), Siberian whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus pidschian), Dryagina char (Salvilinus Drjagini), Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus), valek (Coregonus cylindraceus), paliya (Salvelinus lepeshini). Fishing at the source of Vivi river: Siberian grayling, taimen, and Siberian whitefish.

Days 4 – 9. Rafting down the river Vivi in motor boats (the total rafting distance is approximately 100 km). Fishing taimen (Hucho taymen), lenok, Siberian grayling (Thymallus arcticus), Siberian whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus pidschian), Dryagina char (Salvilinus Drjagini), Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) and large individuals of Pike and Perch. Accommodation in a tented camp on the river bank.

Day 10. Helicopter flight back to Turukhansk. Local scheduled flight from Turukhansk to Krasnoyarsk. Accommodation in a hotel in Krasnoyarsk.

Day 11. Transfer to the airport. Departure to Moscow.

If necessary, we will gladly assist with booking airline tickets, organize the program in Moscow, etc.

Notes:

Under favorable weather conditions, the helicopter flight to the Lake Vivi might be organized in a day when the group arrives to Turukhansk by the flight from Krasnoyarsk.

In Krasnoyarsk, a sightseeing tour of the city, visiting the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station, Nature Reserve “Stolby”, etc., can be organized at additional fee.

In case of improper weather conditions, delays of helicopter flights are possible.

According to your wish, the changes can be made in this tour program; the duration or distance of the trip can be extended.

Those visitor who have special dietary requirements should notify us about that not later than 10 days prior to the trip.

Recommendations:

Apart from a usual set of personal things necessary on travel, the visitors should have a complete set of warm clothes, wind- and waterproof gear, high rubber boots, warm sleeping bag.

Organizers will provide necessary repellents for all participants of a tour, but, if you prefer a certain type of repellent, it is necessary to take care of it independently or to inform the trip organizers in advance.

Visitors suffering by chronic diseases should have necessary medicines.
